
Mr. Sushil Mantri has been instrumental in nurturing Mantri Developers Pvt Ltd and cementing its name as one of the leading real-estate companies in India. His passion for innovation, discipline and focus on customer satisfaction are the main pillars behind its success.
Under his leadership, Mantri Developers Pvt Ltd became one of the first real-estate companies in India to receive Foreign Direct Investment (FDI). The partnership with Morgan Stanley, a multinational financial services corporation, opened new growth vistas for Mantri Developers.
Mantri Altius, a luxury residential apartment developed by Mantri Developers Pvt. Ltd, won CNBC CRISIL Real Estate Awards in 2008, for “The Best Residential Property in India”.
In April 2009, he adopted a Zilla Panchayat school at Angrewadi, Bhukhum Village in Pune. For his initiative, renovation of the school with facilities like new furniture, computers, high-tech Smart Boards, etc. ensued. After the upgrades, the Zilla Panchyat School earned the distinction of being the first hi-tech school in India.
He set up Indus Community School in June 2010 in Bangalore. This school is the first CBSE/International School for children below the poverty line. Situated on a 3-acre land, the school has full-fledged facilities like sports ground, amphitheatre and gazebos for yoga/meditation classes.
Under Mr. Mantri's guidance, Mantri Developers entered into a public-private partnership with the Government of Karnataka to improve and develop Bannerghatta Road in South Bangalore. This was a first-of-its-kind collaboration, which saw the development and beautification of this locality.
In another successful joint venture with the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation, Mantri developers was entrusted to build Mantri Square Swastik Metro station in Bangalore on land owned by Mantri Developers.
Mr. Mantri has served as the President of the Karnataka chapter of CREDAI from September 2010-2012 (Confederation of Real Estate Developers' Associations of India). Sushil Mantri is currently the Vice president of CREDAI India.
